Autism does not exist in isolation it intersects with multiple aspects of identity such as race, culture, gender, and socioeconomic background. This session examines how these intersections influence diagnosis, access to care, and lived experiences. Experts will discuss systemic barriers, community-specific challenges, and intersectional research frameworks that promote equity and inclusion. The session will also highlight voices from diverse backgrounds to encourage culturally relevant practices and inclusive policy development.
