Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety

Pharmacovigilance (PV) is defined as the science and events connecting to the detection, assessment, sympathy, and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problem. The aims of PV are to enhance patient care and patient safety in relation to the use of medicines; and to maintain public health programs by providing reliable, balanced information for the effective valuation of the risk-benefit outline of medicines.

Medication Safety is the pharmacological science ensuring security and identification with the accumulation, location, evaluation, observation, and aversion of unfriendly symptoms with pharmacological activity of pharmaceutical items.
