Nick Jonsson is an award-winning global keynote speaker, Certified Master Coach (CMC), ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), counsellor and psychotherapist, bestselling author, and internationally recognised thought leader on executive loneliness. His work sits at the intersection of counselling, coaching psychology, organisational psychology, behavioural science, positive psychology, and leadership development, helping organisations create psychologically healthier, more connected, and higher-performing workplaces.
Nick holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and practises as a counsellor and psychotherapist with one of Singapore’s leading counselling and psychotherapy centres, where he supports individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges. Alongside his clinical work, he is a Certified Master Coach through ITD World, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Team Psychological Safety Practitioner, a Belbin Team Roles Practitioner, and a Certified Sober Coach. His multidisciplinary approach combines evidence-informed psychological practice with executive coaching and leadership development.
He is the international bestselling author of Executive Loneliness, a pioneering book exploring the psychological impact of loneliness among senior leaders. His work has helped establish executive loneliness as an important area of discussion within leadership and organisational psychology and is recognised through the dedicated Executive Loneliness Wikipedia entry. Over the past decade, he has coached hundreds of senior executives, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams across more than 30 countries while facilitating confidential executive peer groups focused on wellbeing, resilience, authentic leadership, and psychological safety.
Drawing upon both professional expertise and lived experience overcoming addiction, depression, and executive loneliness, Nick developed The Five Steps to Holistic Leadership, a behavioural framework that integrates psychological principles with practical leadership development. The framework helps leaders cultivate self-awareness, purpose, authentic connection, balanced achievement, and sustainable behavioural change to improve both personal wellbeing and organisational performance.
Nick is widely recognised for translating complex psychological concepts into practical leadership strategies that organisations can immediately apply. His presentations combine research, behavioural science, counselling practice, executive coaching, and deeply personal storytelling to demonstrate that vulnerability is not a weakness, but one of the strongest foundations for resilience, trust, psychological safety, and sustainable leadership.
In 2026, Nick was recognised among the Global Gurus Top 30 Coaches Worldwide for his contribution to leadership development and executive coaching. Through his speaking, coaching, counselling, writing, and advocacy, he continues to champion a more human-centred approach to leadership—one in which wellbeing, connection, and performance reinforce one another rather than compete.
