This research investigates the personality traits of Judging (J) and Perceiving (P) among management students in Gujarat, India, utilizing the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) framework. Data was gathered from 1,067 first- and second-year master's students from 29 AICTE-approved business schools across 15 cities in Gujarat. The NERIS Type Explorer® was used to assess personality types, and the study analyzed the impact of various demographic and educational factors using statistical methods such as chi-square tests, ANOVA, and regression analysis. The results indicated a nearly equal distribution of Judging (50.8%) and Perceiving (49.2%) types among the participants, with significant variations influenced by factors like medium of instruction, educational background, area of specialization, region, and previous work experience. The findings highlight that demographic and academic settings play a crucial role in shaping lifestyle preferences linked to personality. These insights have implications for designing curricula, providing career counseling, and implementing team-based teaching approaches in management education
