Abstract:

Entrepreneurship development strategic decisions are designed in Southern African Development Communities (SADC). Research findings indicate that the SADC sustainable gender equality entrepreneurship strategic execution is yet to be fully explored. Sustainable environmental, social, and economic success remains problematic. This collaborative partnership research study explores sustainable gender equality entrepreneurship strategies and their operational and marketing implementation, challenges, and related solutions in Botswana as part of SADC region. Methodologically, interpretive, inductive, qualitative, and thematic analytical research processes and procedures, were applied in two phases. Research findings indicate that the relationships between sustainability, technological development and business transformation remain as huge gender entrepreneurship challenges. The key marketing and operational practical challenges are cultural, financial, global, technological, innovative, and transformative. The application of sustainable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) design, performance, impact, and outputs of operational and marketing practices are some of the suggested solutions. Suggestions aligning with sustainable triple bottom line, success, growth, profitability, and competitiveness to improve the operational and marketing KPIs and AI of gender entrepreneurship are addressed. The sustainable development goals (SDGs) involved include SDG 1 No Poverty, SDG 5 Gender Equality, SDG 8 Dicent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9 Industry Innovation and Structure; and SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities. The research recommendation demonstrates the application of the generated theory entitled, Innovative and Transformative Sustainable Gender Equality Entrepreneurship going forward. The collaborative partnership future research project will therefore test, apply, and evaluate this theoretical contribution.
