Dr. Farhana Sarker is a faculty member at the School of Information Technology, Washington University of Science and Technology, Virginia, USA. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, UK, and previously served as Associate Professor and Head of Computer Science and Engineering at Independent University, Bangladesh. With 18+ years in academia and industry, her research spans health informatics, human-computer interaction, machine learning, and digital inclusion. A co-founder of CMED Health and a 2024 Gates Foundation grant recipient, she works on AI-driven solutions for underserved communities.
