Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2026

My name is Laura Juul Hansen, I’m 23 years old, and I am the founder of Sport Creates Memories (SCM)—an organization that uses football as a tool to create lasting, positive change in the lives of vulnerable children. SCM focuses on building sustainable football clubs and leagues, currently engaging over 9,000 children through 90 football clubs across the African continent. Within our organization, over 200 matches are played every week, fostering community, competition, and growth.
My Journey:⚽ Growing up in Hellested on Stevns, football became my safe space—a community where I developed teamwork, resilience, and self-belief.⚽ By 15 years old, I started "Laura’s Football School", organizing football camps to inspire younger generations.⚽ Over the years, my passion for football evolved into a mission to make a global impact, leading me to Ghana and Kenya, where SCM now operates 90 grassroots football clubs.
