Yaniris N. Colon Rivera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is pursuing a graduate degree in Investigative Psychology with a focus on Neurocognition and Human Development at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. She has collaborated on studies addressing mental health outcomes following vehicular violence, burnout among university faculty, and religious coping with academic stress. Her current research explores perceptions and uses of artificial intelligence among young adults, emphasizing cognitive autonomy. She aims to contribute to understanding how emerging technologies influence mental health and decision-making processes in contemporary educational and social contexts.
