Dr. Mathivanan Moorthy is working as Principal Investigator in the FONDECYT Postdoctoral Project at the department of analytical and inorganic chemistry, faculty of science, University of Concepcion, Concepcion Chile. His research focus is on the design and development of novel multifunctional organic fluorescent materials and metal complexes for early-stage cancer cell diagnostic applications. He received his doctoral degree in Bharathiar University Tamil Nadu India. He completed his first postdoctoral research in Bharathiar Cancer Theranostic Research Center, Tamil Nadu India. Currently he is working as a principal investigator in the Chilian government project (FONDECYT Podtdoctrado) in the university of Concepcion, Chile.
