Mind Therapies

The mind-body therapies are a set of healing techniques that focus on enhancing the interactions between the mind and the body to promote overall health and well-being. Consistent practice is essential to achieve the maximum benefits of these therapies, which have gained popularity over the past two decades. A growing body of evidence suggests that mind-body therapies can assist cancer patients in better coping with physical and emotional symptoms while also improving coping abilities. These therapies are especially suitable for patients and survivors to help manage their own care because they are enjoyable, non-invasive, and effective. To create an individualized rehabilitation plan, rheumatologists, physical therapists, and patients should work together, taking into account the underlying illness as well as the patients psychological characteristics, needs, and abilities. The MBT should be customized and personalized to meet the patients' specific requirements and capabilities.
