Biography:

Leonor N. Camacho Sillero degrees in Veterinarian Medicine from the University of Córdoba (Spain), MsC in Medicine and Animal Health. She received her PhD in Epidemiology Surveillance in Lagomorphs. Working for the Regional Government of Andalusia (Spain) she is focused in wildlife, infectious diseases and conservation of wild species Her experience of surveillance includes emerging and re-emerging diseases like first cases of Bagaza virus in red legged partridge (Alectoris rufus) in Europe, Mixomatosis virus in Iberian hare (Lepus granatensis) or Epizootic Hemorrhagic Diseases in wild ruminants in Spain. Active member of the GEEFSM (Groupe d’Etude sur l’Ecopathologie de la Fauna Sauvage de Montagne).She is one of the researchers in One Health approach projects LEISHANDALUS, WESTNILEALERT and wildlife conservation project CIRCADIANCRYO. She has publications in impact journals with participation as a speaker in different countries for a national and international conferences.
