Ventricular

Ventricular

Ventricular refer to the lower chambers of the heart, known as the right and left ventricles. They receive blood from the atria and pump it out to the body (left ventricle) or to the lungs (right ventricle). The left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood to the body, at the same time as the proper ventricle pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs for oxygenation. These muscular chambers play a crucial role in the heart's function, contracting rhythmically to propel blood through the circulatory system, ensuring efficient oxygen delivery to tissues and organs.
