Echocardiography

Echocardiography

Echocardiography is a non-invasive medical test that uses sound waves to create detailed images of the heart. It's essentially an ultrasound of the heart. During the test, a device called a transducer emits high-frequency sound waves that bounce off the heart structures, creating pictures of the heart's chambers, valves, and blood vessels.
