Cardiovascular Disorders

Cardiovascular Disorders

Cardiovascular disorders (CVD) relate to a class of diseases that affect the heart and blood vessels. These conditions involve the narrowing or blockage of blood vessels (atherosclerosis), which can lead to complications similar to heart attacks, casket pain (angina), or strokes. Common cardiovascular conditions include coronary roadway complaints, heart failure, valvular conditions, and arrhythmias. Threat factors for cardiovascular conditions include life factors such as an unhealthy diet, lack of physical exertion, smoking, inordinate alcohol consumption, and underpinning health conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
