Dr. Khalid Abdirahman Ahmed, MD, is a physician, clinical researcher, and healthcare leader based in Borama, Somalia. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Amoud University School of Medicine & Surgery. Dr. Ahmed serves as the Founder and Director of the Somaliland Health Education & Awareness Volunteers (SHEAV), leading initiatives in community health education, digital health tools, and emergency preparedness. His research interests center on complex obstetric surgical anomalies, public health informatics, and computational disease modeling. He is an active research collaborator with the Global Burden of Disease network.
