Abstract:

Different characteristics of the newly formed bone Following sinus augmentation were described, thus discriminating between bone substitutes of different origins. As for today, the only solid criterion is between 25-35 of new trabecular bone, which is supposed to maintain osseointegration over time. Nevertheless, scarce data exists regarding the quality of the regenerated bone, particularly in terms of its marrow- bone characteristics.
