Dr. Eduardo Rubio graduated as a Dentist from the University of Buenos Aires in 1980. He completed his PhD in 1983, focusing on the research of age and function on alveolar ridges. He specialized under the auspices of the Argentine Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has dedicated himself exclusively to the specialty, performing clinical and teaching duties at the French Hospital of Buenos Aires for almost 20 years. Concurrently, he held various positions in the Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery III at the University of Buenos Aires, where he engaged in undergraduate teaching and research, eventually attaining the position of Associate Professor, which he held until his retirement in 2023. In 2021, he completed a Master's in Health Services Administration organized by the University of Business and Social Sciences. He was appointed Director of the Specialization Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in 2018, till his retirement in 2026. At the same university, he served as a regular Full Professor in the Chairs of Surgery II and IV in the Dentistry Program. Throughout his career, Dr. Rubio attended 75 courses in his country with national instructors, 79 with foreign instructors, and 32 abroad. He has delivered 83 courses and 97 lectures in the country, as well as 24 abroad, and has been a guest lecturer in 29 courses. Dr. Rubio practices privately in an office dedicated to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with his main area of work and research being Orthognathic Surgery. He is accompanied in this daily task by a team of prestigious professionals.
