Professor Takanori Saito, M.D., Ph.D., is Chair and Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Kansai Medical University, Japan. He received his M.D. in 1983 and Ph.D. in Physiology from the same university. He also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Neurosurgery at the University of Iowa, USA. Professor Saito is an experienced spine surgeon and peripheral nerve specialist, with expertise in cervical and lumbar spine disorders, spinal cord injuries, minimally invasive spine surgery, and peripheral nerve disorders. He has held several senior academic and clinical positions and has contributed extensively to research and surgical practice in orthopaedics and spine care. He is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and an active member of several national and international professional societies.
