Biography:
Dr. Abdelrahman Abdelsalam Afifi is an Assistant Lecturer and Senior Registrar in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Ain Shams University Hospitals, Cairo, Egypt, with a subspecialty interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He obtained his MSc in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), England. He is an active member of the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS). His research focuses on Achilles tendon reconstruction, foot and ankle deformity correction, and trauma surgery. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and has multiple abstracts accepted for presentation at international conferences, including the EFAS Congress.
