Aleksandra Panina, a fourth-year Pediatric Resident at Children’s Clinical University Hospital in Riga, Latvia. Throughout her residency, she has developed a strong professional interest in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, gaining more than a year of valuable clinical experience at Jaunķemeri Rehabilitation Centre.

During her clinical training, Aleksandra has worked with patients across different age groups, including military patients with complex injuries, providing her with valuable exposure to multidisciplinary rehabilitation and patient-centered care.

In addition to her clinical experience, Aleksandra has been actively involved in pediatric clinical and epidemiological research. She has co-authored publications addressing a range of important medical topics, including eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis presenting with myocarditis and stroke, an atypical choledochal cyst, and the prevalence of patent ductus arteriosus among children under 18 years of age in Latvia.

Currently, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation remains Aleksandra's primary area of professional interest, reflecting her commitment to advancing rehabilitation care and improving outcomes for patients with diverse clinical needs.
