Biography:

My name is Olha V. Storchylo, and I serve as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Chemistry at Odessa State Medical University, Ukraine. With over 30 years of academic and research experience, I specialize in biochemistry, human and animal physiology, and medical chemistry.

I earned my PhD in Biochemistry (Human and Animal Physiology) in 1988 from the Institute of Physiology named after I.P. Pavlov, under the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, following a Biochemistry degree with honors from Odessa State University in 1983.

My professional journey includes roles as Junior Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Associate Professor at esteemed institutions such as the Chemical and Pharmacological Institute, Agroindustrial Company Malva-1, and Odessa State University.

My research interests focus on nutrition, digestion and absorption, the effects of milk thistle, low-dose radiation, transgenerational effects, and nutrigenomics. I also contribute as an Expert to the Testing Center under Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, supporting pharmaceutical standards.

Driven by a passion for advancing health science, I remain committed to education, scientific research, and pharmacological innovation for the betterment of public health.
