Gofaone Mokalabae is a 21-year-old deep-tech innovator and undergraduate at North-West University. As the founder of Thermoka Green Energy (Pty) Ltd, his work bridges theoretical physics and commercial engineering. He previously presented two independent innovations at the March 2026 International Conference on Green and Sustainable Development (ICGSD). A recognized emerging talent, he won the BeGreen Africa Innovation Competition, advanced as a National Cleantech Innovation Challenge finalist, and secured seed funding through the TIA Grassroots Innovation Programme. His current research focuses on resolving high-dimensional spatial multiplexing degradation in free-space atmospheric channels.
