Dr. Mavis Boakye-Yiadom is the Head of Department for the Microbiology Department of CPMR, Ghana. She is a Medical Herbalist, a Natural Product Chemist, a Clinical Pharmacologist, and a Clinical trialist with expertise in clinical consultation and trials, natural product research, and health policy development. She holds a BSc. Herbal Medicine from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), in Kumasi - Ghana, a Master of Philosophy in Chinese Materia Medica (Natural Product Chemistry) from the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, PR China, a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Pharmacology at KNUST, Kumasi – Ghana and an Master of Science in Clinical Trials, at University of Ghana.
