Complex spine surgery

This surgery is the fusion of bone with the vertebrae to give a steady position. It is one of the most complex and requires a surgeon's key focus on it, generally, it takes around 6- 19 hours depending upon the complexity. The process is achieved by mounting screws, and rods in providing stability to the spine which later on heals. Some of the potential risks include urinary tract infections, vein thrombosis, and embolism.
