Sahar is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT), with a background of working within the United Kingdom, National Health Service (NHS). She has a specialism in Paediatric Acquired Brain Injury and an interest in addressing health inequalities in systems. She is currently working in the United Arab Emirates as a SLT within a multidisciplinary team. Within the last few years, Sahar has had the privilege of engaging with Anti-Racism work with peers as part of an online platform, ‘SLTea Time’ and has written a chapter as part of the published work, ‘A Vision from the Margin’ in late 2023. Outside of clinical practice and writing, Sahar finds peace in self care, being outdoors and travelling
