Integrative Medicine in Healthcare

Integrative medicine is a holistic approach to patient care that considers the spiritual, emotional, mental, and environmental aspects in addition to medical treatments. The primary objective is to assess all aspects of the patient, including natural and less invasive alternatives whenever possible while treating the disease. Integrative medicine is a practice that incorporates complementary medicine and alternative medicine components into comprehensive treatment plans that combine conventional diagnostic and treatment approaches. Integrative medicine is defined as a therapeutic approach that takes into account the entire person, including the body, mind, and spirit, as well as all aspects of lifestyle. Integrative medicine considers all the factors that can impact a person's health, including their physical and non-physical interactions with their surroundings. Relationships provide insight into each individual's unique condition and needs, which are used to provide care. Ongoing research and evidence help determine which therapies are most beneficial for the body's healing process.
