Dr. Melih Gunay is an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Yeni Yuzyıl University in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. His research explores molecular genetics, bioinformatics, and systems biology, focusing on how genetic variations affect gene function, protein structure, and disease mechanisms. Combining computational and experimental approaches, he aims to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets for personalized medicine.
